Meet Coach Nurse Coach

My name is Victoria Hinds BSc.  I have over 14 years experience across a variety of roles within health care and I am a qualified Nurse.  I am also an Accredited Coach specialising in professional coaching within the health care sector.

Here is my truth.  

I am a self confessed whistleblower who takes my Nursing oath as seriously as life itself.  I am my patient's advocate and will protect their physical and mental health and wellbeing at all costs.

As a result of speaking out and following reporting procedure to the letter alongside refusing severance packages and the signing of non disclosure agreements: I have experienced and lived through investigations, disciplinary procedures, false accusation, attempted discreditation and an unsubstantiated constructive dismissal leading to tribunal.  

During all of these journeys my professional tenacity has ironically resulted in new opportunities and subsequent promotion.  Every time.

Despite some dark times along the way feeling under qualified, inadequate, scapegoated, disrespected and with very little professional worth, a combination of things enabled me to never stop me from living my truth.  Namely my patients and their families who all deserve the highest level of care possible, openly, honestly and transparently.  What I hope to continue achieving in the future is supporting other health care professionals held to ransom at the mercy of organisational and institutional abuse that can grossly affect career progression, sustainability and even survival.

I have witnessed some of the most highly accomplished and well regarded Nurses and health care professionals who have spoken out, lose their self respect, professional standing and even careers at the hands of public and private organisations whilst they attempt to cover up major failings in the provision of care or simply not providing a safe working environment.

My goal is to provide a safe space free from political agenda for Nurses to share their stories, lean on each other, support each other but most importantly PROMOTE each other, EMPOWER each other and either CHOOSE to STAND UP for their careers or REDEFINE their futures and professional aspirations but never QUIT.  There are no crab pots here.

How do I do this?  

A twelve week coaching program is designed to assist you in navigating the problems or issues you may be experiencing.  This is a process of self discovery and will help identify where you are now, where you want to be and develop an action plan designed to help you achieve your goals.  This is a guided but bespoke journey designed to enable, motivate, empower and lead you to success.

What I am not is a union, a legal representative, council or governing body.   The only agenda I have is to support my fellow health care professionals objectively, free from discrimination and in the strictest of confidence.
